Cookies

a) Session cookies

We use what are known as cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are placed and stored on your device by the internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information about you, such as your browser or location data or your IP address, is processed to an individual extent.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure, as the processing, for example, enables the display of our website in different languages or the offering of a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for the initiation or execution of contracts.

If the processing does not serve the initiation or execution of a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis in that case is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR.

These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.

b) Third-party cookies

Where applicable, cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for advertising, analysis, or the functionalities of our website may also be used on our website.

Please refer to the following information, in particular regarding the purposes and legal bases for the processing of such third-party cookies.

c) Removal option

You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete cookies that have already been stored at any time. However, the steps and measures required depend on the specific internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or consult the documentation for your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. In the case of so-called Flash cookies, processing cannot be prevented through the settings of the browser. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash Player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the Flash Player you use. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or consult the documentation for your Flash Player or contact the manufacturer’s user support.

If you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, not all the functions of our website may be fully usable.

Contact inquiries / Contact options

If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. The provision of the data is necessary to process and respond to your inquiry – without their provision, we cannot respond to your inquiry, or only in a limited manner.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been conclusively answered and there are no legal retention obligations preventing its deletion, such as in the event of a subsequent contractual relationship.

Server data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted to us or our webspace provider by your internet browser. With these so-called server log files, among other things, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the web pages of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, as well as the IP address of the internet connection from which the use of our website occurs, are collected.

The data collected in this way is temporarily stored, but not in conjunction with any other data about you.

This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, stability, functionality, and security of our website.

The data will be deleted after no later than seven days, provided that further storage is not required for evidence purposes. Otherwise, the data is wholly or partially exempt from deletion until final clarification of an incident.
